His Imperial Majesty
Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi
Ojaja II · CFR · 51st Ooni of Ife · Arole Oduduwa, Olofin Adimula
2015
Early Life &
Royal Destiny
Born on Thursday, 17 October 1974 at exactly 1pm — precisely as prophesied years before his birth — Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi entered the world into the Giesi Ruling House, Ojaja Royal Compound of Agbedegbede in Ile-Ife.
His grandfather Pa Joseph Olagbaju Adewole Ogunwusi named him “Adeyeye” — “a crown befitting for a king” — from the moment he first saw the newborn prince. His mother named him “Enitan,” meaning “a person of story.” Both names proved prophetic.
